Furtados has been associated with music since 1865, initially starting its marvellous service of importing and distributing best quality instruments. It prides itself as being the first to import musical instruments after the opening up of the Indian economy in the early 1990s and continues to maintain its leadership role in providing musical instruments, accessories and printed music to the music-loving community in India. Furtados School of Music Established in the year 2011 has enhanced it's reach to individuals in and around cities like Mumbai, Pune, Akola, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad.
In a short span of time FSM has grown not only in the number of centres and schools offering its programmes, but also in the number of instruments taught and the faculty to capably support it. Music is a powerful message, one that inspires all to pursue their dreams and be an effectual anchor on days when they need more support. FSM in its small way seeks to make this a reality.
The educators and instructors of FSM, are a diverse mix of experience and youth from across India and the globe. Highly motivated and passionate about sharing the best music to individuals has been their motto.
