Responsible for day-to-day functioning of school and maintain positive school culture.
Work closely with the principal on a daily basis to ensure the smooth academic operation of the school.
Conduct regular academic staff evaluations and assist in yearly appraisals.
Foresee any scenario that leads to conflicts between students, teachers, parents or combinations of conflicts between various individuals and proactively address the same.
Enforce disciplinary policies to maintain a positive and safe school culture.
Assists in recruiting, training and retaining academic staff.
Be a point of contact for all academic concerns.
Ensure effective curriculum delivery.
Delineate long and short-terms plans for the school for consummation of strategic goals
Lead the formulation and the implementation of curriculum and complementing curriculum-solutions for accomplishing the curricular goals.
Bring about a cogent and nurturing environment for the students and the staff.
Assess the performance of the staff regularly and ensure adherence to the assigned curriculum. Assess the need of improvement and execute it
Keep abreast with different academic benchmarks and teaching methodologies.
Formulation of a vision for the success of all students.
Formulate a plan to be followed by teachers for the scholastic achievement of the students.
Supervise the hiring, training and other team-building and capacity-building activities for instructors and secondary staff members for the creation of a dynamic team.
Head budgeting and drafting of grant proposals, and allocate budget for items such as supplies, materials, staff and equipment.
Show collaborative leadership and keep the team motivated.
